Most apps read your one sun sign. This is built from your exact birth minute, the traditional Indian way — measured against where the stars actually are — this is called the sidereal, or vedic, zodiac — and read through everything underneath:

Vedic astrology — Jyotish, the “science of light” — reads the stars in the sidereal zodiac, measured against the fixed stars. It applies an ayanamsa correction for the precession of the equinoxes that the Western (tropical) zodiac ignores, so your planets sit where they truly are against the constellations.
